LSETF Recruitment 2023 – Latest Lagos State Employment Trust Fund Recruitment 2022 positions have been released as the organization begins to accept applications from prospective staff and candidates who are willing to work in a private tertiary institution. The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) was established to provide financial support to residents of Lagos State, for job, wealth creation and to tackle unemployment. LSETF serves as an instrument to inspire the creative and innovative energies of all Lagos residents and reduce unemployment across the State.

The Fund has the mandate to help Lagos residents grow and scale their Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (“MSMEs”) or acquire skills to get better jobs through its three programmes; the Employability Support Programme, the Lagos Innovates Programme and the Loan Programme.

1.) Dedicated Loan Recovery Call Center Agent
Location: Lagos
Qualifications & Experience
– First Degree or Higher National Diploma certificate (minimum of lower credit) from a recognized higher institution
– Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience in related function
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for the role:
– Strong active-listening and verbal-communication skills (especially with ability to relate in Yoruba or Pidgin English)
– Good interpersonal skills
– Proficiency in problem-solving
– Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
– Experience working in a call center or customer-support role or lending financial institution
– Good negotiation skills
– Expertise in conflict resolution
– Good knowledge of CRM practices and systems
– Be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages

 

2.) Head of Finance
Location: Lagos
Qualifications & Experience
– First Degree or Higher National Diploma certificate (minimum of lower credit) in Finance & Accounting from a recognized higher institution
– Master’s Degree will be an advantage
– Relevant professional accounting qualifications such as (CFA, ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
– Minimum of 8 years’ cognate experience in Accounting and Financial Analysis
– Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software Key Competences
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for the role:
– Financial Management Expertise.
– Broad knowledge of accounting principles.
– Project Management Skills
– Leadership Skills
– Advanced accounting knowledge, including experience with IFRS
– Good interpersonal relationships & people management skills
– Organization and Planning
– Business Acumen

 

3.) Credit Risk Analyst
Location: Lagos
Qualifications & Experience
– First Degree or Higher National Diploma certificate (minimum of lower credit) from a recognized higher institution
– Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience in related function or from a financial institution
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for the role:
– Good knowledge of regulatory requirements around credit risk and control management
– Good communication skills
– General knowledge of MS Office software package
– Good interpersonal & relationship management skills
– Organization and Planning
– Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

 

4.) Internal Audit Officer
Location: Lagos
Qualifications & Experience
– First Degree or Higher National Diploma certificate (minimum of lower credit) in Accounting, Banking & Finance or any other related field from a recognized higher institution
– Minimum of 2 years’ cognate experience in related function
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required for the role:
– Interpersonal skills
– Attention to detail
– Business Acumen
– Communication Skills
– Business Writing; Presentation and Report Writing
– Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
– Proficiency in the use of MS Office suit
– Display awareness of the need for confidentiality in sensitive matters.
